About a year ago (Dec. of 2002) I started making chain mail. It took some time, but I was finally able to teach myself how to make the common 4:1 and 6:1 type of mail. I have since found a way of making rings that also has helped reduce the cost of making mail.

So far I have only used 14 gauge rings that are approximately 3/8 inch rings. This size of ring has proved to work very well for either 4:1 or 6:1 weaves. I prefer the much tighter weave of the 6:1 combination so that has been mainly what I choose to make.

Periodically I'll sell some of the mail I make, so if you are interested in buying one of the items, please click the "Store" link on the left and click the ebay listings page link.

For now, visit my preliminary Chain Maille website here!
